Pentaco charity golf day header
Pentaco Construction Ltd first Charity Golf Day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief and Quiddenham Children’s’ Hospice was held on the 15th September and we were blessed with lovely weather at Weston Park Golf Club. 18 teams took part on four-ball betterball tournament with a shotgun start.

The Winning team from D&A Grady Farms were, David Thomas, Dennis Grady, Ron Maidstone and Tony Matless who picked up the £500.00 winning prize, D&A Grady Farms kindly gave back their winnings to our charities, Macmillan Cancer Relief and Quidenham Children’s Hospice.

Runners-up were Steeple Court Investments winning £250.00 team members; Stuart Bizley, Nick Phelan, Neil Allsebrook and Michael Newey only just missed out on the winning prize.

A further prize giving for the longest drive was won by Nick Phelan and nearest pin by David Thomas who each won £100.00, both gentleman returned their winnings for our charities.

We ended the day with a carvery dinner and auction carried out by Bryan Baxter of Tops. We were very pleased with the bids received for our auction items raising  £2285.00 and the raffle £1200.00. We are pleased to say that the whole event has raised a whopping £7000.00+ which we will split equally between these two deserving charities.
