Pentaco Construction are pleased to announce we have secured under competitive tender the Construction of 10 Flats in Ramsey, the works will be managed by BBS Chartered Building Surveyors and is scheduled for completion March 2010. David Sexton, Construction Director said ‘We are extremely pleased to have secured this contract and further strengthens our position within the Cambridge market place and shows great confidence in Pentaco Construction Ltd in terms of our quality of delivery’.
Pentaco have also won on competitive tender our first contract with The Queen Elizabeth Hospital to Form a Medical Assessment Unit. Works will commence 10th August and are programmed to complete in eight weeks. James Long of Pentaco Construction said ‘we are looking forward to working with the team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and are looking forward to building a strong working relationship with them over the coming weeks’.

Pentaco Construction Ltd have been successful in winning two education projects. The projects tendered through NPS Property Consultants Ltd involve the creation of new changing facilities at Bunwell Primary School and a classroom extension at Rockland St. Mary’s Primary School. Both projects commence on the 20th July 2009. David Sexton (Construction Director) commented ‘We are really excited by these projects, this is the first occasion we have had the opportunity to work with NPS Property Consultants Ltd and further strengthens our portfolio of works within the educational sector’.

Pentaco Construction Ltd are pleased to announce the award of its first contract at the University of East Anglia. The contract involves the surface treatment and re-waterproofing of some of the elevated walkways on the university campus. David Sexton – Construction Director stated ‘we are extremely pleased to have been awarded this contract, the University of East Anglia is a pivotal centre of learning in this region and we are delighted to be associated with such an institute’. Works are due to commence in July 2009.

ISO9001 Certification
Following an assessment by an independent body, Pentaco Construction has been awarded ISO 9001 certification. This certification has only been achieved by about 5% of UK businesses and this prestigious award is supported by the Government and recognised world-wide.
Sue Marshall-Nichols said we have always been proud of the service we offer our clients and the way that we conduct our business. Now with the award of ISO 9001 certification, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries”.
Andrew Denchfield, who undertook the assessment for QMS Quality Management Systems, paid particular tribute to “the investment in people and training that enables Pentaco to provide an efficient service to their clients.” |

SKJ Properties Ltd. The project is scheduled for completion in 16 weeks and is being managed by Chris Buckingham. The works incorporate the upgrading of the electrical and data systems, reconfiguring of the existing space with new partitions and doors, upgrading of the existing toilet/wash room facilities, inclusion of a new air cooling system, new ceilings, floor finishes, refurbishment of the existing lift and general external works/repairs.
Snag free hand over at Longwater.
Pentaco Construction Ltd have handed over the extension to Gardwell Security Ltd’s new office development on the Longwater Industrial Estate. The project was completed on time, within budget and ‘snag free’. Steve Lucas of Paul Robinson Partnership (UK) LLP stated ‘The project ran very smoothly from start to finish, it was well managed by the Pentaco team headed by Bryn Lewis, despite the client being in occupation during the works very little disruption was experienced, for the record the client has told me they are very pleased’.
Innovation House – Norwich
Pentaco Construction Ltd have commenced works to complete a link building for Aquaterra Energy Ltd to join together their two office buildings on the Norwich International Business Park. Works are scheduled for completion in 16 weeks and are being managed by Bryn Lewis. David Sexton (Construction Director) commented ‘We were extremely pleased to be awarded this contract and to assist the client to complete their construction project. It demonstrates confidence in our company that the client chose us over several other contractors to build out this project’.
Police Station at Terrington St. John near Kings Lynn
Pentaco Construction Ltd have been awarded the contract to part refurbish the Police Station at Terrington St. John near Kings Lynn. This is the third project Pentaco Construction Ltd have been awarded by Norfolk Constabulary and follows on from the successful completion of the refurbishment of Fakenham Police Station and the construction of the new modular cells at Bethel Street Police Station in Norwich. |
